Frequently Asked Questions

When am I supposed to pay you and do I tip?

You can pay for services after your session is completed. It is never required to tip your therapist but it is customary and always appreciated.

What should I know before I arrive?

NEW CLIENTS: Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. There is minimal paperwork to fill out and we want to assure you have the opportunity to speak with your therapist about your goals for the session.

RETURNING CLIENTS: Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment. The allotted time for your session BEGINS at your appointment time. We want to ensure you have time to visit the restroom and speak with your therapist before we begin.

What if I need to cancel?

Emergencies happen and we understand that but as a courtesy to our therapists, we ask that you please cancel your scheduled appointment at least 24 hours in advance if possible.

~ Cancellations the day prior but inside the 24 hour period prior to your scheduled appointment will be charged a $25 Late Cancellation Fee.
~ Day-of but more than 6 hours prior to your appointment will be charged 50% of your appointment fee
~ Day-of but less than 2 hours prior to your appointment will be charged 75% of your appointment fee.
~ No shows will be charged for the FULL amount of their session to the credit card we hold on file and will be asked to prepay for any future appointments in full and is non refundable. If you are a No-Show and have a Gift Certificate or Package the session will be paid for in the fashion. No exceptions to this policy.

Please be considerate of your therapist’s time, keeping in mind that late cancellations and no-shows result in a loss of income for your therapist, not just our small, locally owned business. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact us at your earliest convenience at 540-699-0458.

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, no we are unable to file insurance claims on your behalf.  However, the majority of our clients are successful in taking their checkout receipt from their visit with us and submitting it to their insurance carrier for reimbursement.  We are happy to provide our EIN and your providers licensing information from the Virginia Department of Health Providers upon request.

Additionally, we are qualified to accept HSA (Healthy Savings Account) as well as FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payments.

Not all of our posts can be sunshine🌞 and rainbows 🌈. We received a 1 star review on our Google listing today. 😕 Are you curious why on earth we'd share that on our Facebook page❓❓... keep reading .. cause don't worry we're taking it in stride as this person has never actually been to see us. The poor review was because we enforced our Cancellation Policy that they admittedly agreed to and signed. 1 Star reviews stink but we'll take them every day of the week and twice on Sunday (Saturday in this case 😆) if it means we enforce a policy that PROTECTS our dedicated therapists. They work so hard at what they do. But generally in the massage industry they are on commission based pay. That means when you cancel your appointment the day of, it's possible that spot won't fill, hence, they don't get paid for that time. That's where the cancellation fee comes in... But that fee is just a fraction of what they should have made during that time. Remember these ladies have families and bills just like everyone else. They have dedicated a certain amount of their work day especially for YOU. Not just the 60 or 90 minutes they're with you. But the time they spent preparing the room for you, going over notes from a previous session if you're a returning client. Time spent afterward cleaning and sanitizing, making more notes about today's session.

It's just a shame that some folks don't respect others VALUABLE TIME in the service industry. It's easier to run to Google-land and leave a bad review about a small locally owned company admitting you did something you agreed to pay for.. if you did it. 🤦‍♀️

Oh no - they were made uphold their end of the agreement. What kind of business expects its clients to respect its employees' time? What a strange concept. All of this is to be read with extreme sarcasm. Good for you for holding to your policy.

They got off easy and cheap for $25

It’s that sense of entitlement once again. People feel entitled to express their displeasure in the way of a poor me review , but the only thing they’re doing is showing their true colors. I would not want someone like that on my table. They’re basically saying, “yes, I signed that, but I’m special and I had an emergency, so let me trample all over your professional boundaries.” So what happens next time when she has an emergency? They feel very empowered behind an anonymous screen & keyboard , but eventually their entitlement gets the best of them. They are their own worst enemy.

Well done! As a former pet groomer who suffered this effect from no call, no show clients here and there, I applaud you for taking this seriously and enforcing your cancelation policy.

Sucks to be an adult and be held accountable. SMH. Can't believe she left a one-star review for what it is admittedly her issue 🙄

Elaine Asson the wording of this … a business owner who truly cares about their employees. 👏🏼👏🏼

Hey I got one of those too 🤣 glad your not client removed hers.

I totally stand with you on this , Kristy DeBruhl. ✌️

So mad about signing the policy and that you enforced it? That’s what is suppose to happen.

“Beth” is ridiculous. This place is amazing and my wife’s and mine pain levels are SO MUCH BETTER now. Beth can go away, I’ll take her slot!

You know what I dislike even more than this, is and when you look for a clinic to work out of and they ask for a free 30-1 hr massage for free. Time is valuable. It's a company hiring a contractor for their service, that ain't free ma'am

👏👏👏👏👏
